Sustainability
We ensure that sustainability is at the heart of everything that we do.
Our farmers are kaitiaki, guardians of the land, and have a multi-generational focus on protecting our land and water resources.
A core element of true sustainability is economic sustainability, so we ensure that our activities generate sustainable economic returns for all participants so that it provides strong financial incentives to grow good practices.
We are care about the land, and this starts with the health of the soils. We work with growers to learn and share knowledge about best practices for sustainably increasing the health of the soil through good farming practices and reduction or elimination of agrichemicals through the use of good cropping systems with soil health as one of our key focuses, driving better long term yields and a healthier environment.
We recognise the precious nature of valuable water resources, and aim to carefully manage irrigation systems and crop selection to optimise water use, while also actively working to enhance the quality of our waterways.
We grow what is appropriate, where and when it is appropriate. Our crop selections are designed to work in combination with integrated farm systems and take into account the supply and manufacturing supply chain to minimise transportation emissions.
We operate a greenhouse gas monitoring programme, and believe by sustainably growing crops we contribute to the health of the planet and play our part in climate change mitigation.
Our focus on sustainability is from the paddock to the end-consumer.

To support our mission we believe in transparency, sharing key information and metrics on what we produce and ensuring this is visible through all parts of the supply chain, right through to the end consumer.
We invest in development of traceability systems and provenance practices and ensure that our partners maintain the integrity of this data at each stage of the process.
Our growers are proud of their farming operations, and happy to share their story.
Our logistics and milling partners have been carefully selected to meet our expectations and share their best practices.
